NeoPop and Handy emulator questions (Neo Geo Pocket and Atari Lynx)

I have both the NeoPop (Neo Geo Pocket) and Handy (Atari Lynx) emulators running.  However, I cant get them to save the option to open to a full screen.  Both have the options, but always open to a windowed screen and then have to manually change to full screen.  Is there anyway to get these games (Neo Geo Pocket and Atari Lynx) to open to a full screen everytime upon launch?  Any different emulators than those that will allow that to happen?
