That's interesting, the link in the 9.3 page is to the updated HDMI driver... so I wouldn't touch that one.

That seems to point to the WDM driver as the possible problem.

And which device is actually using the wdm driver? because I have installed the 12.8 hdmi driver.

I think the WDM is used by the whole thing, don't know if there's any specific device linked to it.

Another idea, unistall the video driver, install the whole 9.3 catalyst package:
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/9-3_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu.exe

This will install the WDM driver probably.

Then *only*uninstall the display driver and reinstall CRT_Emudriver.
