Custom Resolution for MAME?
« on: September 04, 2012, 02:49:48 am »
Hello All,
I have a general question about MAME (in my case MAME32FX):

Can I specify a custom resolution for a specific game in a CFG file?

For instance, most of Raiden games would run in 320x240, but displayed properly, if I rotate my actual monitor (1084S-D1 in my case). The MAME32FX's graphical interface does have an 'auto' to drop-down menu, but it does not support non-standard resolutions. Can I define a custom resolution in a CFG file, or should I use a utility, such Winmodlines for instance for these types of games?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
