Hyperspin - Are the Specs of this Machine Sufficient to Run It???

Here is what I suspect, but don't know for a fact....

Obviously each emulator itself has its own requirements, but you aren't talking about that...

My guess is that the more emulators, then the more ROMs to keep track of... The more ROMs, then the more data to manage...  Plus each emulator needs its own graphics settings for the "wheel" etc...

Now, to me, it doesn't seem like it *should* be that big of a bog down, but again, I am only speculating anyway.

Hardware upgrades should go in tonight.  Newer motherboard, newer CPU, newer video card (all with significantly better specs), brand new RAM, and I'll throw a fresh install of TinyXP on it.  Then I roll the dice with my Hyperspin setup that is on an external hard drive.  I am hoping that the fact that I don't have any USB 3.0 ports doesn't bite me with the external drive since it is holding a bunch of video stuff for Hyperspin.  If it is a problem, then I might have to money with the configuration and put the videos on an internal hard drive.  If that gets to be problematic, then I guess I will just have to buy an internal 1GB drive and transfer it all over.  I was just hoping to keep it on an external drive so that I can pull it out of the MAME cabinet and do any updates from my primary PC.
