AdvMame Remap and ArcadeOS help Plz
« on: October 04, 2003, 11:02:27 pm »
Ok...

I need a bit of help on the software side of my cabinet.

First of all - how do I re-map keys in AdvMame?  When I use the TAB menu, hit enter on the key I want to change and then press the key - it changes it to "F9 or I" instead of making it just "I".  "I" is used for another function later in the list, so when I press "I" in a game it does 2 things - which doesn't work out so well.

The 2nd thing I need help with is ArcadeOS.  What I want to have is maybe 3 custom lists.  1 for mame games, one for NES games and one for MP3s.  Is it possible to have ArcadeOS run Mame games, NES games and a Jukebox?  If it could that would be amazing.   How do I setup a jukebox with arcadeos if that's possible.

Also -
what's a good NES emulator to use and how do I set that up with arcadeos?

If anyone's done any of this before I'd appreciate the help.  Thanks.

Jon
