im somewhere in the ~20 or ~25 gig range. I dont have any roms of newer systems tho, N64 being the newest one I have. I'm sure I'd have a lot more if I started PS1 emulating and whatnot.... maybe sometime soon

Sorry for the confusion,
I'm not counting ISO's or anything like that. if i was i'd be in the 500 - 600Gb range.

thanks for polling!

hehe, yeah. I wouldn't go posting around that you have a terabyte of 1337 warez and what not. Good for you, but you aren't impressing anyone here. Don't take that as a harsh statement, its not intended that way. I'm just saying.... good for you, but you won't find many people who sympathize with you since the majority of people here, myself included, think it is wrong to emulate games that are still commercially viable.

first off your and idiot

Here, I am going to start a new poll inside of this one.

How old do you think matt.e is?

I say 14.

I don't know Matt, I think you're the only one I know of who's more obsessed with numbers than actual content.  I remember - I was once like you in the Genesis Days (whoa 16 Meg Cartridge - that game's gotta rock!).   But now you can fit all my favorite MAME games on a floppy disc.

So as to where you stand, I'll go out a limb to say you've won!   I've contacted the record books.  They laughed at me and promptly hung up.

But I think it's a better idea if you don't advertise all the PS ROMs on your computer, as Sony gets a little touchy about such things.  I doubt anything is going to happen, but if the video game industry ever wanted to bust our chops all they need to see is posts about how many GBs of illegal software you have on your computer.   Just better safe than sorry.

Don't worry abou the slow replies -- we all know the craziness that is the world's Time Zones.  Just good thing you don't live by the International Date Line -- we might read your posts before you even get a chance to write them.  :)

And I vote he's 12.

Oh, THANKS A LOT!! I could have drank that Sprite instead of spitting it out when I read that. I did enjoy the laugh though :)

I'm gonna say he's 13. It seems about right.

I'm afraid my manhood is in jeopardy.... I have less than 80 meg installed.

In MY day you were happy to have two rocks to play with, and not that fancy granite the rich kids had either! We had that soft, crappy sandstone and you didn't complain about it.
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.
