Defender Font
« on: January 14, 2008, 04:49:27 pm »
Hi there,

I'm trying to do a Defender style marquee for my cab (originality was never my thing) and I'm having a bit of trouble finding a suitable font for it. I know I have to add the 3D effect and 'shape' myself afterwards, but can anyone direct me to a font, preferably free, that will give me the right look?

Cheers :)

Didn't find a Defender one, but there are some fonts here you might want to look at http://mirrors.arcadecontrols.com/OscarControls/fonts.htm

Thanks a lot anyway  :)

I think I'll just try to find something similar and once I put all the effects in, it should look something like I want.

I'm not sure the font used for the Defender marquee, but I managed to track down the font (or if not it's very close) for the control panel overlay labels etc: http://www.ffonts.net/Compstyle-Regular.font

HTH  :)
