Playing NEOGEO roms in MAME???

Ive been going nuts trying to get the NEOGEO roms like Metal Slug, King of Fighters etc to play in Mame. I DL the neogeo bios and put the .zip in my roms folder but it still gives me errors. Does anyone have a clue how to get this to work ??? Im running MameUI32 on Windows 7

You may need a different bios file, I had this issue as well, I downloaded it from somewhere else and then it worked good! I think it was missing files originally.
