Xynie:
Thanks for the advice guys... I'm going to try stay under 1K. He doesn't want to go through the hassle of auctioning, and is a good friend, so I'm trying to make it good for both of us. I checked the dimensions, it fits in my basement fine...getting it the basement will be fun :)
I'll update if it works out ;)
Mac Green:
do you have any pictures of it? I could help you get a specific price
Nephasth:
If he's a friend, he would just give it you! He has no use for it.
bkenobi:
Auctions take a cut of the sale. He'll lose ~1/3 of the value to the auction house right off the bat assuming he gets the price he wants. Just keep that in mind when making the offer. If he sold it for $1000 at auction, he'd only get ~$6-700 after auction and transportation fees. Plus, as you said, it's probably a hassle.
