I recently purchased some nintendo joystick from ebay, they were in used condition, and I knew that going into the deal, but the price was right, and the most that could really be wrong is the switches would be bad. Well, I got them yesterday, and lo a behold, one was actually in pretty respectable condition, even with original switches that worked! The other one... well, thats another story. The switches had been replaced at some point with some "matsushita" brand, one was literally cracked in half! How does that happen?

Anyways, so of course I hit up mikesarcade.com, cause they usually have everything Nintendo. Oh, and they had them... at 4 bucks a pop! That's almost more than I paid for the whole controller for one switch. So I hit the ground running with the Google machine, I found a supplier that sells the same switches as mikesarcade.com, but for a fraction of the cost, only difference is you'll have to put the bend in the end of the lever yourself (which takes all of 2 seconds with a pliers, just measure 5mm in from the end). So if you need some switches and need to save a few bucks, check em out, I ordered 4 myself, i'll update this post when I get them.
