Teach a class on video games, sorta
« on: November 08, 2011, 01:02:39 am »
Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this rpg class that some guy taught ? http://www.brainygamer.com/the_brainy_gamer/2008/04/the-rpg-syllabu.html

Well i'll be teaching a class on children's and adolescent's learning through video games. Well, it won't only focus on learning. I will include topics such as identity, and collaboration. Has anyone read any good articles on video games recently? I have plenty of researchy articles, I'm looking for the type of article you'd find in the New York Times, or a NPR segment I can play.

I'm not interested in the video games causes violence research though and won't be including that as part of my syllabus
