Replica Galaga Build
« on: September 04, 2016, 10:38:16 pm »
I finished my replica Galaga build today. I had a post showing my progress but when the server crashed it looks like my post was lost. I thought I would post a photo of the finished cabinet.

I am running on a Raspberrr Pi 2 that boots directly into Mame and launches the Galaga Rom. I do have Attract Mode running in the background with a menu of about 10 games. You can exit the Galaga Rom by pressing the player 1 and 2 buttons at the same time.

I have posted a video on YouTube with links if anyone else wants to download a similar setup for their RaspberryPi.

My buddy is looking to use a Pi in a vertical build.
This is a great thread. I look forward to directing him here.

A set up like this would be perfect for him.

Thanks

Looks great - my build is a 3/4 size Galaga cab. Love the Galaga cab design.

Great build  :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:
