remove overhead dvd player 2006 Toyota Sienna

Exactly what the title says. How the Hell does one remove the overhead DVD player in a 2006 Toyota Sienna. The unit appears to be OEM.

I've got a stuck DVD inside and I've excercised all the usual options to get it out. This is the final step.

First problem is: its a toyota.

All kidding aside, if my knowledge of vehicle assembly is correct, you have to remove to whole housing that the dvd player is built in to. A pic of the housing would be nice!

Is it this kind?

 or this kind?

Should be some screw holes on the side or on the bottom side of the screen rest. The screw to mount to the roof of van should go all the way through the dvd player.

Chances are, you have a delphi or matsuhita dvd player. Most auto factory dvd players are from either of those 2 manufacturers and are made the same way.

@ cotmm68030

Thanks I'm downloading it right now and I'll take a look at it.
I did discover one method involving a pair of long nose tweezers and almost guaranted damage to the DVD (dont care about the disk) and a possibility of damaging the laser assembly (I would like to avoid this). I'll see what it takes to remove thwe drive vs the tweezer method.

Oh ha ha, same could be said for Ford.... Actually I heard Honda entertainment systems are the balls to fix. If you kill power to the system, you need a passkey to re-enable it. Hands down that would piss me off everytime.

Back on topic, it's the first pic featured.

Unfortunately, I don't know when I can fix it. I did something to my hip? and I'm having issues with walking. Put weight on my goofy foot and just collapsed. A bit mystified as to what the cause is/was.
