Unfortunately you'll probably spend more on bits than you did the whole router table! Those things are expensive.  :hissy:

Oh I'm ready for that. One bit I have my eye on for this project is in the $60-$70 range. A miter lock bit.

The Two-Headed Beast is nearing completion of its first build phase, and with DNA Dan's project being bumped recently, my interest has shifted back towards this. :)

Finished the last of the flat drawings for the parts, the stop switch brackets. Nothing difficult, just never finished them up.

Now to get with DMEN and see about getting the metal parts made up. I've got three monitors... So I might as well have three of everything made up, and see what happens. ;D

Hoping he can get these done around the holiday, since there will most likely be skeleton crews working, and more time to screw around.

It was a good Xmas! ;D

DMEN wants to do a run of 4 sets of parts, so it looks like I'll have 1 or 2 MiniBeast "kits" to sell as well.

Been thinking/researching on the miter lock bit thing and came across a nice "cheat sheet" on making a box with all miter lock edges. The MiniBeast is pretty simple, just a bottom and two sides. The stand alone CP is a little trickier with the back piece thrown in the mix. The sides will need 2 edges lock mitered and the back will need three. This handy "cheat sheet" helps not having to think about it so hard. I haven't really seen anything around here on the subject (not that I've really looked), and thought I'd share. The link has a few helpful diagrams. It kind of makes me want to start building furniture. :)
