WG 25k7191 Flyback Swap
« on: August 09, 2011, 11:30:56 am »
I picked up a new cabinet a couple weeks ago on the cheap. I could hear the game come on but just a black screen.

So I picked up a Cap kit from Twisted Quarter and installed it. I also picked up a flyback transformer at the same time.
I know the Cap kits for the k7000 cover my k7191, but I was unsure about the flyback.

http://www.twistedquarter.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=206_207&products_id=784

This is the one I picked up. It does not mention being compatible with k71XX series.

I wanted to include a pic of the tube because I think other manufactures have also made tubes for this series.

Pic of the board.

Anyways, anybody out there that can tell me if this will work with my chassis?
Any help would be appreciated

This is my first post here, but I have been learning so much from this site for so long, I wanted to thank everyone for all the information and time invested. :applaud:

That flyback should work just fine.

Good luck!
Man, will my cab EVER be finished?

Did you have high voltage when you tested it before?
