Neo Geo credit counter powering.
« on: June 25, 2011, 10:53:17 pm »
I'm putting the final touches on my Neo Geo cab and was wondering if anyone got the credit counter to work with mame. I tried looking for info and no luck. I currently have a j-pac hooked up and working great. I would at least like the credit counter to light up and read "0". I have the two coin bulbs hooked up the the computer's psu and was wondering what cables to splice to make the credit counter light up?

Great question. Mame hooker has some possibility but I have run into many roadblocks with this.

I have a couple of MV-LED's that I want to work on know that I am about to finish school.

I was hoping that it was as easy as hooking in the coin lines to count up, the one or two player buttons to count down, and game change to reset... guess I oversimplified it! I'd be happy getting them just to light up...

the issue is, if you coin up lets say 8 credits in 1 game, then exit, and start a new game, you've got an 8 on the counter. If you just want them to light up, they sell LED kits at radio shack.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
