Happ Joystick Handle
« on: August 01, 2011, 02:34:24 pm »
I'm mounting my IL Euro joysticks underneath 3/4 MDF and I've noticed the handles are not long enough. Does anyone know where I can buy 2 long joystick handles?

You might not be installing them correctly, they should fit just about any control panel.

Which groove are you putting the E-Clip in ?
(should be three to choose from to change height of the stick)

I've already tried it and it won't be long enough.

You really have to push the joystick to compress the spring before a E clip will fit.   If you cannot get it to fit you can rout a depression where the base of the joystick is mounted in your wooden control panel.  Some joysticks have a choice of insert that goes in to set the height of the stick for metal or wood.  (not sure of your model)
