Games Like 'Steel Force'

Found this game, 'Steel Force', and I like it a lot.  Saw some recommended games in MAWS, but they didn't seem to have this sort of feel.  Do you guys have any recomendations for games similar to this one?

might also wanna check out a game called "loaded" for ps1.. same exact kind of game but the music and graphics are better

Steel Force has subtitles almost as good as "All Your Base are Belong to Us"

Ah!  I remember my brother and I playing that as kids!  I know we at least had Loaded and Reloaded.  I don't know how I'd feel about them now but I remember they were a lot of fun when I was younger.

How about Neo Contra for PS2?  It was pretty maligned because it didn't live up to Shattered Soldier but was pretty fun.  It's super easy on 1 player and you should be able to S rank the game in a day or so, but it's kind of hard on multiplayer.
You may also appreciate Alpha Squad in the indie games section of XBLA if you have an Xbox.  It's got a lot of polish for an indie game.
