Virtual Controllers and Front End
« on: May 22, 2012, 09:04:30 pm »
Hi Guys,
I’m hoping someone can help me with this problem.  I can’t get the controls to work for NFL Blitz 2000 (PC) with the Atomic front end.  I’m running version 20, jpac, and ipac in my four player cabinet.   I wish that I could post this on the Atomic site for Youki, but I haven’t received access to their site yet…so I thought I would see if anyone here has any ideas.
This game requires that you use two virtual joysticks and two keyboards so I am running the software Vjoy for the virtual joysticks.  Outside of the front end, I have it running perfectly.  I had to assign the virtual joysticks to player 1 and 3 on the cab since NFL Blitz 2000 doesn’t accept keystrokes left/right controls and alts.
When I run the computer game through the front end, the game comes up but none of the keys work.  I’m assuming that the Vjoy program is messing up the winipac controls maybe?
Somehow I need to have the front end recognize the virtual controllers for players 1 and 3 and winipac for 2 and 4.  Do I do this by running external programs under the front end?  Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks guys!
