Ok I bought the converter to convert to usb but I noticed on the ipac there are 2 ps connectors. Do I need to use both ports to have 2 players?

One of the connectors is the keyboard pass thru so unless you have a keyboard hooked up to the I-Pac, that connector isn't used.
