Verizon Data Theft
« on: May 23, 2011, 12:44:36 am »
There are blurbs all over television, but I can't find anything about it online. It appears that Verizon has had their network compromised and now those of us who has or have had Verizon for some service or another will now find their Social Security numbers in the hands of some thief.

WTF? First Sony and now Verizon? It's not the fact those faggots are attacking these systems. It's the fact those moronic security ---smurfs--- couldn't protect their own ass in jail much less protect the data (hey! here's a cool concept! How about isolating the customer database from oh... I don't know, the rest of the ---smurfing--- world?)

While searching the tubes, I did find that this isn't the first time. That makes the whole thing even more annoying.

edit: whoops, wrong link. Fixed.

Ugh.  Looks like the filter needs some updating.

That word went out as a slur in the 80s, dude.

That word hasn't been associated with the gay community since the late 80's. Try to keep up with the modern definitions there.

In any case I have my filter turned off and I would be more than happy to substitute  :censored: for what the filter doesn't catch, but thanks to your uber brilliant quoting, that's kind of useless, isn't it?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

It is this?
http://www.theidchannel.com/NEWS/ViewArticle/tabid/85/ArticleId/409/Can-You-Fear-Me-Now-Verizon-Customers-Target-of-ID-Theft-Scam.aspx

I pay my bill online, keep my computer clean, and, luckily, didn't pay my bill during that time-frame (just in case).

Of all people, I thought you would be the last to worry about the use of that word.  :lol
Pictures are overrated anyway.
