Hi all,

Found this on slashdot today, and thought you all might be interested if you haven't already seen it.  My apologies if it has already been posted, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

That guy bought all that stuff in one bulk.  He sells the art off from time to time, and supposedly is loaning his screens to art printers for repros.  The games are mostly part of his private collection, I think..?

Arcade games at work is a really cool thing for breaks!  I worked at an effects house where they had a Soul Calubur II upright and a networked Hanaho dual-cab PSX sit-down racing setup in the kitchen, a newer Golden Tee and a Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga in the lobby, and a Simpson's pinball and a foosball in the boss' office.  On coffee breaks, a bunch of us would run off and have a Soul Calubur II mini competition!  I can't imagine having the array of games they had at Atari though...amazing they got ANY work done!  ;D

Has anybody ever heard of "Akka Arrh" before ? I guess its a prototype but I wonder what the object of the game was ?  I have no idea but I bet I would like it. ;D From the looks of the cab it was probably designed around the same time "Crystal Castles" was released. Never heard of it but sure would love to play it.

I bet that guy takes Akka Arrh out from time to time, though.. like the yearly California Extreme-whatever show..
