please critique my marquee

My project is nearing completion.  I've been working on the art the last little while.  Here is my marquee and I am wondering what the pros think of it.

Very nice work, I really like how the Yun guy in the background turned out.  I think having the focus on one person can actually really help a marquee if its done like that.  I think the only thing you could do is maybe lay off the glow effect on the text, and maybe make it a little bigger, or maybe try to somehow get Yun infront of the text, because he's the best part of it in my opinion, although the rest is very cool.  The blue and red in the background is a nice touch, although sometimes its easiest to go with a single color, you can try either way though, I'm sure they both would look fine.
   -Keep up the good work

ALSO,if you only wanna use Yun then I suggest you add some shadow layer around him.

like 3 of them in the background in red or blue but transparent layer. That would be REALLY cool.
something like the one I attached.
Just an idea for your marquee(already looks great)  :)

Scottula that looks sweet :)  I'm a fan of the multi colored backgrounds - good design and very clean overall.

Thanks for the comments all!  Yun was traced out in illustrator and I have been looking for a decent picture, in similar style, of his brother but without much luck!  I will upload this one to the vector library when I get a chance.

I will continue to fiddle with this taking into consideration all the ideas.  I had actually tried to bring Yun into the foreground, but it is too powerful a picture.  It overwhelms anything else on the screen, which is why I put him behind the text to try to settle him down.  The glow effect is a bit much I would agree.  I will see what else I can come up with to make the text stand out from the background.

SNAAAKE, that picture you drew up is pretty slick.

I never drew them in vector.
frosty and 3rdmacman drew those in vector(akuma).
I am just the photoshop guy.  ;)

(one of my buyer wanted some cool akuma overlay for his panel so I came up with this last night).

You did an amezing job on that vector yun as well(professional work there).
Post the final marquee.  :)
