video convergence help

i finally found the hitachi remote for  my megalo 410,

but i wouldnt have the slightest idea of how to use it on the monitor? (stupid question i know)
does anyone have an idea how to get the remote to work or where i need to actually point the remote too? lol  :dizzy:

not worked on a hitachi but all the others you point the remote at the screen
i expect you could find instructions on sega website

bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha. I've so done that before... even going so far as to begin ripping the thing apart to find out... dead batteries *facepalm*
