this is not the same one that goes in your wiimote this is an actual NGC controller.

first I was wondering if anyone has one or even the regular wii version one and how do they feel over a stock gamecube controller?

next I was hoping someone had this exact controller and could get me a pic of the thumbstick assembly on the inner's to see if a decent virtua console and NGC arcade stick can be made from them or not.

I dont' have one but I'm intrigued.  A wired Gamecube controller in the shape of the Classic Controller.   But I still think that using the standard Classic Controller is fine.  And the price point is close to the same. I can go buy Classic Controllers all day long at the pawn shops for around 9.95 a piece.

but your classic controller will not work on the actual gamecube games nor the emulator's and the reason I am asking this controller does everything your wiimote classic controller cannot.

you could tell me how it feels compared to a stock gamecube controller though.

does it feel better and would you preffer it over a stock gamecube controller for gamecube games?

Huh?

Why would you be running gamecube-based emulators on the wii?  Pretty sure the standard gc controller would be best suited for gc games simply because the gc has an odd button arrangment and all the games are designed around that.

becuase I cannot stand that odd button arrangement of the gamecube controller and would preffer a normal shaped controller like the 360 ps2 etc..

I have 2 of the ps2 to gamecube converter's but not sure if they will take on the wii yet.

Also this way if I wanted to run a gamecube nes emu or something I would have a controller that is more comfortable to play with instead of using a stock weirdo shaped GC controller layout.

does the regular classic controller that plug's into the wiimote work on emulators?

using the classic controller on the classic games is what I am thinking type thing.

I just got the wii and dont know much about these classic controller but I would like to ditch the stock GC controllers for something better when it comes to the classic's and I dont have broadband so the internet part of the wii is useless for me.

I use my classic controller (connected to the wiimote style) on my emulators which include Genesis, SNES, NES, and N64.  Works on all of them. I prefer the classic controller layout over the Gamecube style controller myself.

cool I was not sure if the original's even worked on emu's or not.

I went ahead and ordered two of them NGC one's off ebay for $5.99 shipped each from china.

if I like the feel of them I may grab an original one too.
