Need help with Led strip for Arcade Cab
« on: March 22, 2011, 12:26:47 am »
I just got my Led Wiz and I had bought 2 12V led strips. Didn't think to look at the voltage for the Led-Wiz which it says its 5V. So here is my question, and sorry if im in the wrong board.  Im going to go buy a 12V plug tommorrow now obviously I got to strip the plug but how do I connect both the strips to one plug and do I need to connect the ground from the plug to the Led-Wiz?

I am completely new to the whole Led thing so please excuse my newbie post =)

I hesitate to respond but I might as well. I'm stuck on the damn train.  :hissy:

You can drive 12v but you must refer to the instruction manual found here: http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=82&products_id=239

If it still doesn't make sense there's an email address specifically for this kind of support.

I would have a better answer but his nomenclature is a little strange and I don't want to get you mixed up. Besides Randy builds and designed them himself, I don't even own one yet.
