U360 + PS3 + MVC3 (button assignment)
« on: February 17, 2011, 11:53:13 am »
Hello,

I have my u360 working nicely on my PS3 and am playing MVC3 with it. MVC3 conveniently allows complete control of button assignment making it easy to use with the u360.
Maybe this is the norm for other fighting games (SF4?) and I have nothing to worry about. But I was wondering if there was a way to change what the buttons are assigned too for the PS3?
Right now I have 7 buttons setup on this CP using the u360. It's setup with the defaults to work with MAME/PC games. 1-2-3 4-5-6 and 1play start (8th button is not being used). I plan to add it soon.

When I plug it into the PS3 the buttons are all over the place. I could physically re order them to add some logic to the layout, but then that breaks the plug-n-play for mame and PC games.

I am guessing there is nothing I can do but figured I would ask :)

Thanks!
