Hey Guys im working on a dedicated MK CPO for a friend that i'm Vectoring from scratch in PS so it looks as close to the original as possible,
when its done i will put it up for download, main reason for that is that i have seen to much MK1 dedicated cabs on the net that have a six button layout but it doesnt do the original cpo any good, i still got alot to do but ill do my best on this thing.

will keep you updated i got some more cpo design laying around and i will post all the psd files in the future for users do download

i will make a set of joystick templates to in a six and 7 button layout so you can overlay the old ones.

PS can someone help me out with getting the MK1 Marquee file PLEASE!!!

Sure no problem ill put a download link here when its, done i got 2 of them the above one and one with 4 extra buttons on the top/middle for use with Hyperspin, i got more control panels that ive made ill post them here aswell for users to use

to show of my own beauty

its a tribute to the MK arcade
I just finished the vector stuff for the leftside, the right side will have the mk2 sideart with raiden and will be altered just like this one

The Background is not decided yet

And here its is with shading and the scales i'm working on the art with another user (RONDAR) from the HYperspin forums

its still a work in progress so dont mind some little details

cpo is almost finished well need to add a background

broken stone may look good as the background. you'd need a gradient or something over it. Red to orange perhaps?

Hi all, nice work donnie. for all those that want it I took your file and added a halftone effect found on the original mk cpo artwork. As for all of those waiting on me to upload the MK sideart if anyone has a good suggestion on were I can upload the 547mb 7z file let me know as megaupload will not take the file i've tried. Also the Halftone effect I did here is what i'm working on implementing into the sideart but to be honest my PC hates the mk sideart and all the ram it takes up.

Hey guys, just wondering what you did to modify you're cabs for 7 button. did you build a new panel from scratch or did you modify the original? I'm wanting to convert but can't decide if modifying the original wood and metal panel is possible without leaving weird holes where the original one block button was

Something just kept bothering me about that Control Panel. Had to make my own revision. Perhaps this will be useful to others with OCD like me. Can someone clean this up and maybe align the start buttons center and equal distance from the MK Logo. I kind of teh suck @ this stuff.

Are you using a vector image editor? (Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)

What file are you trying to edit?

I've got illustrator and photoshop. I'm not great with either, but I'm about to give a stab with photoshop.

The files I'm using are Donnie1979's finished version from this thread, as well as Necroticart's halftone version. Luckily I snagged them a while back.
I was hoping I could remove just the one button, but since it's part of the same layer as the rest of the buttons I'll just try to change it myself. wish me luck!

Drilling the extra run button isn't a deal breaker if I have to, I'm just not sure I wan't to go through the trouble. My control panel is already drilled for 6 buttons each.

I saw the LAI version that you mentioned, I just wasn't sure if the dimensions are the same as the midway cabs. I'll have to look into that.

No problem, and thanks for pointing out JoyMonkey's site to me. The only thing I'm having trouble with now is finding artwork for the front of the CPO box. There's a generic sticker covering mine from when it was converted originally. Not sure I'll be able to peel it off clean.

Does anyone have the 7 button version of the MK1 CPO. The originals were all uploaded to megaupload which is now gone. I am about the restore my MK1 cab and the control panel needs to be completely redone since they chopped it all up for a Golden Tee. Might go 7 button so I can use MK3 in it also.

Sorry man i made that Hyperspin one for my own cab. but since i am going to make a vewlix insted of the mk (no room) i think i can sell the custom Hyperspin mk set with Johhny gace on one side and raiden on the other plus cpo. pm me for questions.

I was working on a SFII themed cab, 4 players. My wife prefers johnny cage to blanka, go figure. And Im also collecting art for a possible MK cabinet.
I will just need to extend the CPO and eventually adjust the Side art.

Ive got the CPO and the Marquee AI version, thank you Scott for the directions, again.

Do you know where I can find the original vector side art?

Does anyone have the vector art for the midway (NA) version of MK1? I want to put UMK3 in my MK1 cabinet. I have a full MK4 control panel and an extra blank MK4 metal panel. Would like to use the MK4 layout using the MK1 art to match the cabinet. The 6 and 7 button versions here are nice but they don't match the MK4 button layout.
