www.restoredisks.com
Daughter was given a laptop from my sister. running very slow. No restore disk.
I looked up the laptop and restore disk in google . I found the store.
$27.00 and in 5 days I had all 3 disks.
not bad.

You could do the same by going to a computer store and getting the consumer to help towards economic recovery.

I would consider that helpful.  ;)
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

27 bucks.. Ouch. That is a bit pricey for some old restore discs. If the laptop is new enough, you could get the discs under warranty, if not then it is too old to drop any real money on. I would have simply installed tinyxp and gone hunting for the drivers after doing a quick look at system under control panel. Atleast there is a place to go to get this sorta stuff.
