Joystick Mounting - silly question?

I suspect this is probably a silly question, but does it matter in what orientation you mount your joystick(s)

I mean, the plate is rectangular, should it sit vertical or horizontal to the CP? Does it matter?! Is there a standard anyway?!

It doesn't matter, just as long as you connect the switches up correctly.

Turns out i'm pretty tight on space due to my trackball, so gonna have to go one way with P1 and a different way with p2!
