People on KLOV talk about finally having a "row" and post photos... Here is my second one:

Wow. Are those things really worth the $20 they cost? I mean the controls look so hard to play with. But I guess if your going for rows on games I should be posting a couple of pictures with all the space I got.

Is that a full Coleco tabletop collection?  I can't remember the total number of those things that were made.  You trump me, as I've only got a Galaxian, which I got for Christmas back in the day...and then a non-working Pac-Man, that my wife had while growing up.

And is that a Bandai Crazy Climber I see in the bottom right-hand corner?

HOLY CRAP! What an eye! You really know your classic electronic games. That is Crazy Climber.

@PW: If you find one for $20, snap it up. Average price is $40 to $80+ depending on condition, if it has battery cover and box, etc...

I went a little nutzoid on Ebay about 12 years ago. I also have (and paid way too much for) Zaxxon and Entex Stargate. Just gotta find spots for them...

These probably aren't the same thing I think they are. I'm guessing they aren't the cheezy ones that I used to see in Spencer's are they?

I only recognized your Crazy Climber, as I've been a CC nut since day one and I've also got that particular handheld.  I can't quite remember, but I either bought it at Toys-R-Us or BEST Products, close to the first time I ever saw it, or else my parents bought it for me, shortly after I begged them endlessly!  Still have the box and manual around here somewhere...

And I don't remember Spencer's selling any of those Coleco handhelds, back in the day...must be something more recent.

I was talking about in the last 5 years. It might not have been spencer's it might have been Toys R' Us or something like that but they looked exactly like that and were $20 so I'm thinking it was just a ripoff like you can buy Merlin's and Classic Football 2.0 and kinda relive the old memories but they just aren't the same (though I'm not really old enough to reminisce but I've heard all the stories).

What is your first row? A Nintendo Row?

Actually I'm a huge fan of table tops from 1979-1983, but the Nintendo's and Coleco's are my least favourite. Especially the Coleco's are real flimsy with peeling off stickers. DKjr, and then just in brown (not the red stickered version) is OK, but the least cool in my collection (game is great though). The extreme over-designed Entex, Bandai, Bambino and Tomy VFD table tops: that's the real deal from that era. Bambino's UFO catcher and Entex Super Cobra are among the best designed electronic products ever (better than lot of recent boring Apple ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---). And game wise VFD Q*bert is the real king. That game is so close to the arcade.

My first row is my real arcade machines (see signature image below).

QBert is one I don't have yet. Every one I have come across has sticker spotting/peeling that's just horrible, with a price that's too high for such condition. One day....

Very nice.  I always wanted one of those when I was a kid.
