Is anyone using our PS3 control adaptor with slim?

As title, I have a customer having issues with our adaptor using a Slim console. Is anyone successfully using one on a slim console?

I don't think it's a slim issue.

I'm using a 40GB fat model and have a problem with sticking keys also.  It doesn't happen very often, but every once in a while, the down direction gets stuck.  It seems to unstick if I input down again, so it's simple enough to fix, although it can be frustrating in the middle of a game of Super SSIV

The problem he is seeing happens immediately even when navigating the menus so very easy to test.

I have a 40gig fattie (replaced HD with a 320gig) and I was literally just about to order the PS3 adapter to use with my IPAC4...

I say go for it.  In spite of the once in a blue moon problems I had with mine (I haven't been able to duplicate the issue on my last few playing sessions) the adapter has been great on my 40 gig fattie.  Andy's always great with customer support.  My experience with these adapters has been no different. (I have two of them)  I got a defective unit once, but Andy replaced it right away with no questions asked.  I'm not sure what's going on with the slim model.  I wonder if the customer is trying to play with 4 players -- I initially tried that and my PS3, which only has two USB ports (I was using USB hubs) did not like that at all.  That's when navigating menus became impossible.  Before I bought them, Andy advised me that he wasn't sure if a 4 player config would work, but I figured I'd give it a shot.  Can't really be upset about that.  It might work with one of the older PS3s that had 4 ports, but who knows.

Other than that, I can tell you there's absolutely no lag when using these things and they work like your DIY control panel was meant to play PS3 games.  Playing Super Street Fighter IV and BlazBlue is a blast.  I was hoping for some 4 player Castle Crashers/Scott Pilgrim action, but oh well.  I also use Ultimarc's Wii adapters -- mostly for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.  They work great -- never had any problems.  I was hoping to use them for more games, but Nintendo insists on integrating motion controls into games that have no business having them.  (I wanted to try Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but I think motion controls are used in it too)

Not sure if this helps make up your mind.

@Dizzle: Awesome, thanks for the info.  Like you, I'm planning on using this for vs. fighters primarily (SSF4, Tekken6, MvC2/3, MK9 etc.) 

Are you using an IPAC2, or an IPAC4 with the adapter?  I'm pretty sure it won't make much of a difference functionally, but it would be nice to know ahead of time...

I'm actually using it with a mini-pac (the older version).  Ultimarc's website specifies IPACs, but Andy let me know it works with the minipac too.

It may be a wiring issue. Can you swap a PC out to your Ipac to test if you get the sticky keys still?
