Anyone built a Tiki Bar before?
« on: June 20, 2010, 09:11:17 pm »
I'm thinking of building a Tiki Bar.  Anyone on here done that before?

Any suggestions, tips or ideas?  How about things to stay away from?

I've got a rough idea of what I want to do, but I'm still kinda lost about the bar top itself.

Most tiki bars around here and we have a bunch use basically a plywood top.  They will put photos, shells, led light tubes or something on them.  Then they poor liquid bartop plastic on it.  I think it is called Envirotex lite, I have seen it at Michaels craft store and Lowes.

Ok, the Pong part was pretty sweet...but I'm thinking thats a little more labor/time intensive than I was hoping for.  But thanks for Playing!
