Hi guys. Got the monitor I posted about (the one that was blowing fuses) working again. Replaced the hot once again (shorted the new one I put in a couple weeks ago) along with the R103 resistor. Ran smoothly for 30 minutes until I shut it off. Only thing I didn't check was the B+ voltage, which is what I wanted to ask about.

After capping this board over a month ago to correct a flickering issue, the machine ran great. I then checked the B+ voltage, which was fine, but the very next day is when it started blowing fuses. Could I have possibly shorted something by way of checking the B+ incorrectly? It wouldn't seem so, as nothing happened when I checked it, only after. As you know, that resistor is in a tight spot, and my multimeter is clip-less, so maybe I mistakenly touched something I shouldn't have with the probe? Again, the monitor didn't blow while checking, just the day after. Silly question I'm sure, but I just want to make sure I do everything perfectly right this time.

Thanks for all your help, everyone.

maybe you pressed to hard with the meter probes and pushed a component leg onto another-check carefully

Thanks for the reply. Is it still necessary to check the B+? It was within range last time after I capped it. It's working so great right now, I really don't want to mess with it further.
