I've been the last 4 years except last year where I had previous obligations. I like it a decent amount plenty of machines and it is always a mix of EM and SS. Lets put it this way, I drive 4 hours to go to it.

I figure it to be about a four drive one way for me too.  That's eight hours round trip and almost makes it an overnight stay. I still have a few days to decide.

I get up at around 6 ish saturday, make it around 10:30, play till around 12:30, go to the diner that is walking distance, back but 1:00, play till 7, stop in York, PA for dinner at Hooters (love their Daytona Beach Wings), back at home by midnight. Guess your not as much of a wide-awaker as me.

Turns out my math is a little off.  Mapquest says my trip is just over 6 hours one way.  However, I am not discouraged.  I like the overnight idea because it makes the overall experience a little less hectic and provides an opportunity to make a return trip on Sunday early before the crowd shows up.

How about some feedback from the show from those who went for those who didn't get to go.

 Woe is me.

There were some good deals to be had in the flea market on Friday, don't know about saturday or sunday I never made it back.  Most of the games inside were extremly over priced and/or in really lousy shape (older games -- I didn't play any new DMD games not really into them).  Most were setup very poorly with almost no slope and were a complete bore to play, for a show supposedly well attended by enthusiasts you expect they would take a few minutes to level the games and put the back leg levelers up.   Dirty games for $1200 with weak flippers give the hobby a bad rep and that is mostly what was there.   I apologize for the few who do setup their games properly but it's a minority.   If I did not live in allentown I don't think I would bother to travel to this show.

The flea market saturday was pretty full of deals still. I had the problem of a lot of games leaned to the left because the floor was sloped that way. Early on the show was disappointing because of how crowded it was but it thinned down a little and you could walk around again. I thought it was an okay show but vendor space has gotten too big. They need to move to a bigger location.

Thanks for the feedback.  How many games would you guestimate were available for freeplay to the public? 100? 200? What percentage would yolu say were DMD games?  Any noteworthy titles for play or for sale?
