My wife is from Connecticut, and when we were first getting to know each other many years ago, she used to tell me about all the fun times she used to have with her grandparents going to the beach in New Hampshire. She said that she used to play skee ball quite a bit with her grandpa at the local arcade in town where they stayed on vacation every year.
Little did I know at the time she was talking about Funspot. Funspot. Seriously? Funspot. When I told her it was pretty much classic gaming MECCA, she just shrugged.

What I'd give to have a few days alone in that arcade.....
Of course, now we're married, 2 kids, and have little to zero chance of actually getting BACK there any time soon. Sick part is, her dad actually OWNS a condo on Lake Winnipesaukee -- a stone's throw from there.
Maybe soon. In the mean time, living near the Twin Cities, my only options are the occasional beat up cab at the pizza joint, or sometimes I get lucky and find a bar owner who's got a personal collection. Other than that, most of the large 'Entertainment Center' type places focus on all the Dance Dance Revolutions and 3D-Virtual Reality crap. And Golden Tee. Cripes, if I see ONE MORE GOLDEN TEE with 40 drunk wannabees gathered around it, I think I'm going to puke. /rant
The Minnesota state fair always puts up a pretty decent sized arcade though. I can usually find a half a dozen dedicated classics to play on. Provided they're not beat to hell.
