Wanted: Trackball Optic Wheel
« on: May 26, 2003, 01:05:33 pm »
Anyone have a busted betson imperial trackball? I need an optical emcoder wheel (the wheel with the spikes on it). Just one. I'm sure I can come up with something to trade for it. Email or PM me. Thanks.

I don't (sorry)... but it's my understanding that you can use oscar's model 3 encoder wheels (you'll need to use a washer though) ... and you'll get the bonus bump in teeth/resolution...  (you'll probably want to get two so they match though if you decide to go that route)

Drop OSCAR a line, It couldn't hurt...

*Shrug* good luck BT

Actually OSCAR is the one that told me I needed a wheel out of a Imperial. I'm putting this in an Arkanoid spinner. Both his and the Happ TB have a bigger center hole as you mentioned. I just thought I'd see if anyone had one before I "rigged" it. : )
