x arcade diy or psone controller hack?
« on: August 17, 2006, 10:31:41 pm »
Im building a arcade stick for use with my consoles, xbox, xbox 360, dreamcast and ps2. Im looking for opinions on wether I should go with the x arcade diy or a psone controller hack and adapters for the consoles. Im currently leaning to the x arcade because of future xbox 360 support.
I don't know if you know this but I'm sort of a big deal. I own many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Xarcades emulated ANALOG mode helps with gameplay as well. Just an extra perk. Sure its not pressure sensitive but still if a game requires you to play with the analog stick you can play them.

I use a Pelican Real Arcade Jotsitck which has adapters for PS2, GC, and Xbox already built in. It also has a button you switch between digital and analog modes.

I would suggest replacing the joysticks and switches in you do get the real arcade stick.
