File not open ...
« on: June 24, 2022, 04:15:21 pm »
When I start the Maximus Arcade front-end, 3 messages appear in a small window :

" The following write error occured: File not open "

When I close this window by clicking OK, a second message appears :

"Write Acess Needed
Please allow write access to the 'Preferences' directory located next to the executable. The preference files need to be written to periodically. The frontend will not function correctly until write acces is available."

When I close this second message, a last one appears :

"File write Error: File Not Open
The File  C:\Program Files\Emulators\Mame32\lauch.bat  could not be written. Verify that the folder structure of the file location exists"

Everything looks good with the folder structure, I checked again  :dunno

Do someone has an idea about this problem ?

Thank you so much in advance for your replies ;-)

It would be great for me  ;)
Many thanks in advance  ;)
