Windows 7 is a no go. Crashes during setup wizard launch

Will check XP as well but hardware might be dinked.

Might try and pick up a Dell gx260 as that seems like a suitable replacement computer? I haven't been able to find a clear cut answer as to what computers would be compatible.

So just out of curiosity I tried the recovery disk in some completely unrelated hardware and got the same error message. I'm guessing maybe it has something to do with compatibility of what the OS is expecting vs what the replacement hardware is.

i have never seen it show up that fast (golf wise)
might be time to cut the loss or just replace the thing with a running unit

Yep agreed if cmos reset doesn't work the hardware seems rooted and best pick up a dell gx260 and install quite simple.

OK update time. Got a Dell gx260. Got the recovery and install disks for team challenge. Going to try and use the Dongle emulator. Hitting this error now. I believe it's because i installed the software with a Cad Dongle. My question now becomes this. Am I able to change the region setting of the software after it has been installed via some config file? Does a dng file for the Canadian team challenge exist for the emulator?

That is the error message I get while using hasp. I have tried US dng and AU dng files. Both give me incorrect country message.

I think later tonight I will try to start from scratch and leave my Dongle out of it completely. See if I can get the emulator to load up before installing the software and have the game install with just the emulated Dongle.

I'm finally up and running. Reinstalled everything with no Dongle in and at worked. Instructions for emulator said I needed to have a legit Dongle in during install but in fact the opposite was true. It was screwing up the install and forcing a Canadian region. All seems well in that department now. Still need to get a video card for it in order to play but at least I'm in the menu systems now.

Hey guys, you don't need to use old obsolete mainboards or IDE drives or even old Graphics boards. Our current builds use Asus H61 mainboards (as they have parallel ports on-board), 32gig SSD drives and Nvidia 610 graphics cards, 2gigs ram and a plain Pentium G3020 dual core processor, but even i3 i5 or i7 will also work. Everyting works 100% with that hardware setup, and is blazing fast. You just need to make a few tweaks in the bios and run a patch on the registry to make XPe think that SP3 is installed. That's it.

Mine still isn't working even after I got a new video card for it. Game silently crashes and restarts at the menu system just after the intro video. Sigh. What a total pain in the ass this thing has been.
