Maxumus Arcade go back to emulator pick page
« on: November 18, 2010, 12:59:38 pm »
I just downloaded and playing with Maximus arcade settings. The problem or question I have is that when it loads up to the emulater page where you can change emulaters... I select one i.e. mame it goes into it and shows the games and plays ok but when I am done with the game and exit out (esc) and it goes back into mame if I want to go to a diff emulater i.e. atari 2600 what key do I press or need to set up in pref page to go back to the main emulator select page. currently I have to press a number i think 4 and a window pops up with all my emulators to select. Any Ideas? :banghead:Hope I am clear about it.  :dizzy:

The Home button is the native choice to return to the previous page.  I have recently re-created my own key mappings, to support my own admin button layout.

If you want to re-map the ESC key, you need to do it from within the emulator's preferences while maximus is running, not from the preferences.exe.  (see known issues here.)

-  Run Maximus Arcade
-  Hit Ctrl-P
-  Assign your keys.  Read how to do it here.
-  Save
-  Click close

And delete the preferences.exe... it's useless and causes more harm than good.  You don't need it, since you can enter the preferences through the Ctrl-P method from within the front end.

Hope this helps.
