Title: 8-liners 25" Chassis Info
Post by: MK3FAN on June 03, 2008, 06:44:59 pm
For those of you who are on the fence with regards to purchasing an 8-liners chassis or have not seen one, here is a pic of the recent one I received. It's the 3rd one I have ordered and it's the 3rd one that works and looks great! You get new everything. From degauss wiring to monitor ground wire. Just wanted to share...

I've read that it supports some 27" tubes as well. Can anyone tell me if this will work with a WG K7500 and U2000? Both 27" The K7500 is medium res and the U2000 is standard.

Dual sync? Does that mean standard and med res?

Jen Shinn's website does not mention any chassis models for 25" tubes. They have chassis shown for 14 to 20" and the next group of chassis are for 28" to 29" tubes. No mention of 25".

that looks like a different chassis, jen shinn chassis all have white flybacks apart from the dual sync which is black
hantarex use the same chassis for 25" as 28" which leads me to believe this could be the same

As I recall, 8liners was using a Wei-ya chassis for 25" tubes.

Do you need an iso transformer with this?

i am pretty certain that does not need an iso as i can see the mains transformer on the chassis,if you see on the specs that the voltage is 80-240vac then that means an iso is not required
to be certain just contact the supplier and ask for all the specs of the chassis
