Title: chassis number
Post by: chris79 on May 03, 2007, 02:32:39 pm
if you find the chassis number on your monitor, will that tell you what kind of monitor you have?  I used to think mine was a Electrohome, but I seen a chassis number on the back that has a WG then some numbers so i'm not sure now.

I suggest you read this first:

Then visiting the monitor id sites to see what you have.

I recently pulled a Nanao MS8-26SU out of a Golden Tee and it had a WGxxxxxx sticker on one of the metal sides.  Looked like it was factory applied, unless someone put a lot of glue on the back of one and stuck it on the chassis.  Did WG use a Nanao supplier at any point?  Or was this something done by someone sometime to maybe pass it off as a WG?
