???  Wouldn't that be all of them?  Do any use more than three?

Yeah, I don't know of ANY trackball games that use 5 buttons.

And Qbert didn't use a trackball.. so I'm assuming you will be adding a joystick for it?  It is a diagonal 4way joystick which will only play a handful of games.

Plenty, in fact, use the search function here on the forum and type in "trackball game list" or "trackball games" and see what happens.   :dizzy:

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=33536.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=33536.0)

That forum topic is even entitled "How many buttons do I need to play every trackball in MAME" or something to that effect.

USE THE SEARCH!

Missile Command is 5 buttons, if you count the two player start buttons.

thanks for that suggestion is missile command good? what would it compare to on PS2 i.e. namco's rally x to GT3/4

It would compare to nothing that I would know of on PS2.

Fire it up in Mame and use the mouse to control it and see what you think.

Or try this...

It's exactly like Madden 07 but instead of football you blow up these little lines in the sky to protect these 3 little cities.

You're going to hate it. It's like a cell-phone game game, blown up to the size of a regular monitor. Blocky and chunky. Uses only 4 colors.

Wait, I think I've got a translation:

"You are all correct.  I am but a child.  I long to have lived in the decade known as the Eighties, but sadly, I was born in 1996 to a mother who smoked crack, thus explaining my inability to post a properly formed sentence."

He's right though... Missile Command sucks, there's no blood or cheat codes or anything!

Do you mean Viewtiful Joe?

And if so.. are you really bashing Viewtiful Joe AND Missile Command?  Quit now... you're not meant to play games.

In the interest of actually helping here, a great resource is MAWS (http://www.mameworld.net/maws/).  Click on "Deluxe Search" then select "Trackball" in the "Control" drop-down menu on the left.  Returns 6 pages with almost 150 results.  Enjoy.

But in all seriousness, you should work on your communication skills around here.  It's really quite difficult to understand what it is that you're asking sometimes, and you'll find you'll be more likely to get help rather than harassment.
