hi. im planning on using 1964 and epsxe emulators in a cabinet. what frontend should i use? or has somebody tried this? also, what os would you recommend for this setup ? thanks.

I couldn't get the command line switches to work with 1964. Ended up using Project64. They are pretty similar as they use the same plugins. oh and I'm using Mamewah.

thanks. ok i will try. i just dont know how to setup epsxe on mamewah, is this fairly easy to understand, im currently using dos advmenu/advmame.

GameEx is incredibly easy to set up but can require a hefty PC. I really like it.

You can try Atomic too , it works.

Do some searching in this forum. That's how I learned how to set up ePSXe under Mamewah. If I recall, I'm not calling the .EXE. I call a .BAT file that calls the .EXE with correct arguments (to pass the game image file) and formatting.
I also use Project64 under Mamewah. Works great.

I don't think it matters. I'm running W2K Pro.
