Just purchased a americas army arcade. When i got home the image shifted down and I dont know what to do.
-
have you tried to adjust the picture using the remote board, its normally inside the coin door to one side on some velcro
-
Thank you for the reply. Yes this is with the adjustment at 100 max. Won’t go up anymore
-
i don't think the yoke has dropped otherwise you would have purity and convergence issues
maybe try factory mode, to enter the factory menu turn the monitor off. Hold the buttons 'OSD' and 'Key +' and turn it on- i think this is correct, its been a long time since i did this
-
Thanks will try when i get home from work
-
you do have one other option if that don't work- connect a keyboard and mouse, once game has booted press windows key and then shut down gvr then mouse right click the screen anywhere and use nvidia settings to adjust it

I got into this menu but it did not help. Do you know where I can get the default numbers because I messed up the sides. I don't think its a collapse because the bottom goes beyond the screen. the other suggestion did not work. I appreciate your help. any other suggestions?
-
there are aren't any default numbers as such, how did you mess the sides up unless you restored factory settings which is not the same as accessing factory menu
accessing factory menu gives you more adjustments and greater ranges
anyway post a photo of a screen shot and i can tell you what to adjust

So this is what the picture looks like now. I reduced it to show the sides

so that looks simple enough to me
trapezoid
pincushion
vertical shift
vertical size
horizontal size
-
Thanks for quick reply. Will give it a try

Thanks worked. Just still have to figure out original problem
-
do the vertical size and vertical shift both work
-
do the vertical size and vertical shift both work
yes the vertical size increases size but mostly the bottom of image just keeps going down. Shift moves imGe up or down and maxes at 100 but does not reach top.

its possible there may be an issue in the vertical deflection circuit
what happens if you adjust vertical linearity?

like i said it years since i adjusted one but i think its first left second line down on the factory menu

Thank you.

Was told today that its not deflection. They think its software. Is that possible?

You have a weird image there. Like a piece of paper curved on itself in the upper area. That alone suggests hardware to me. That is displays it the bios screen says more so.
