Title: 2xU360 with hyperspin
Post by: fablog on December 29, 2015, 05:15:23 pm
Hours (days?) trying to configure 2 joystick and I failed :(
Could you direct me to a tutorial to configure 2 U360 with Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher/Xpadder and Mame?

Right now I see my 2 U360 and the UIO in Windows 10 but can't control the menu/game in Mame64 0.168. Xpadder recognize the 2 joysticks.

Thanks.

Hyperspin doesnt work well with joysticks as of yet. You need to configure Hyperspin through HyperHQ to use the Keyboard, and match those keys in Xpadder. Also, you can have Xpadder start up either when HS starts, or when Windows starts. I have a Hyperspin profile set to load when Windows starts, so that way when you start HS, Xpadder is already in effect. Hope that helps!

Or even better connect the U360 using the additional harness to a keyboard encoder so it will generate keyboard stokes natively...

But then would you lose the programability of the U360? I have mine in through USB, and can program the controller for different game setups

No. Just connect both: USB for the programming and the harness for the keystokes. Works perfectly fine in my cabinet...

If that's right you saved me a ton of xpadder work! Can't wait to try it
