Title: What are these called:: the 4 screw holes for utrak install
Post by: aldub516 on August 26, 2015, 10:57:27 am
The 4 little eyelets that you pound into a drilled hole in the wood, to Screw the utrak bolts into. Or what's another suggestion for installing a utrak. I was gonna bring it to Home Depot and just find a screw long enough to go into the wood but not pierce the other side. Best suggestion for installing utrak?/trackball? The old bold holders are stuck in my old cp

it sounds like you may be referring to T Nuts or threaded inserts

the Utrak should have come with the screws and equipment necessary for installation.  I used 3/4" MDF the screws did not even come close to coming out of the other side.

It came with everything but once the threaded inserts are in a piece of wood they are pretty much done for so I needed new ones. I just found 4 proper length screws with round flush tops. Works like a charm. Thank you!
