I had an extra EPIA Mini-ITX M10000 from when i wanted to make a carputer(Specs below)
I was wondering if it would be powerful enough to run a jukebox with windows XP? I wanted to make a compact jukebox and this guy is pretty small.

audio is audio whether it comes from an ipod a computer or cd player.
if it will run windows xp it's play mp3's
most of the jukebox software started comming out around the P3 era so basically anything over 1ghz is ample.

I have that motherboard in a bartop mame machine running TinyXP with 512mb RAM. It does the trick for playing the classic games but I had to downsample mame to 22khz to avoid audio stuttering. I am guessing it should be fine running an mp3 player app but never tried it so I can't say for certain.

i have no idea what your running, but my multimedia pc i use in the livingroom to play hd video on is a 1.2 ghz with 256 mb ram and winxp pro... i even pull the video wirelessly from my main desktop in the office with really no side effects other than being a little slow at booting programs. once it's going it's fine.

I used a couple of these for jukes that I made. I originally used Virtual Music Jukebox for one of them. The second I used Freebox which is now called e-touch. It worked great but I would recommend using 1 gig of ram rather than 512. Go for it.

it works, thats whats in my GF unfinished bartop juke touchcade. Using the onboard audio and everything. I also have 1GB of RAM in it, makes a big difference. Im tryin to find a vid card for it to free up some CPU cycles.

only if you are able to DISABLE the onboard video in the BIOS... otherwise it continues to run and use up your RAM even though you are using a card. Some you can others you can't, yet still others self disable.
boot it with the card and monitor connected, then connect a 2nd monitor to the on board once the computer is booted, if you see an image, it's still operating and hogging your computer cycles.
