For the past few moths ive been expecting to see a thread for this summers arcade show(s) but nothing. We had Insert coin last year which I attended and enjoyed and was hoping for a 'day out' (read beer+arcades) this summer.
Anyone know of anything?

Yeah, a bit snobby. :) Crowd type? Well Blackpool's Britain's spiritual home of arcade gaming, and after frequenting it for much of my youth, I guess I form part of this 'crowd'.
What would you prefer? In the upper-end of a big inner-city shopping centre surrounded by poncy chain coffee shops and wine bars? Not the gritty environment I remember, and in England, most big arcades were at seaside resorts.
Seriously though, if you ain't been recently it's much better than it was and a lot cleaner since the new sea defences were built. This venue's way up past the tower and North Shore, getting close to Fleetwood.

I quote "gritty environment" lol! The one thing that stuck in my mind the last time I went was the number of tattoos on faces.
I admit I havent been for about 10 years so Id be willing to give BP another chance :D
